A video that the team of DTI Region III office has prepared to encourage more micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) to integrate environment friendly strategies and measures into their operations. The two green enterprises featured in the video, La Paz PrimeFoods Corporation in Tarlac and Mill Enterprises in Pampanga, were among the close to 700 MSMEs which were supported by the Promotion of Green Economic Development (ProGED) Project, jointly implemented by the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) and the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH in the Philippines from 1 January 2013 to 31 December 2016.… read more »

In a simple ceremony, the GIZ partners of the ProGED project turned over all equipment, documents and files to the DTI ROG National Office on Monday, 19 December 2016. The second GED Training that ProGED has conducted for DTI staff in the provinces not covered by the project as of 30 September 2016, was again another inspiring and successful event. The event, conducted on 6 to 8 December 2016 at the Harolds Hotel, was participated by 38 DTI senior staff coming from the provinces under the Cordillera Autonomous Region (CAR), National Capital Region (NCR) and Regions VI, VIII, IX (led by Regional Director Sitti Amina Jain) and XII (led by Assistant Regional Director and also the National Manager for the Negosyo Center Project of DTI, Ms Dorecita Delima).… read more »
